A: Lower than coffee, but probably not lower than other teas. Several studies have looked at the caffeine content of tea and have found it to be similar across varieties, with the younger leaves containing more than older leaves. Something like Silver Needle probably has more caffeine than your typical green tea. But, it is hard to say how much caffeine is in a cup of tea, because caffeine content is dependent on water temperature, brew time, quantity of tea leaves, location of the farm, age of the leaves when plucked etc.
